Alexander Technique teaches you a process for working on yourself in your daily and skilled activities. Depending on your purpose and needs, you make take lessons until you’ve achieved your initial goal or you may choose to continue your explorations. Like learning a new language or musical instrument, how far you want to go is up to you.

Consistency in this practice is often useful for building skill. We recommend coming for lessons once a week if possible.

AT lessons help you understand your habitual patterns of movement and being through the lens of everyday activity: sitting, standing, walking, lying down, and much more. By increasing awareness of what we’re doing in the moment, we’re able to make new choices that provide us with more freedom.
